Many said that they cannot feel Christmas is round the corner. I am not celebrating Christmas but I do love Christmas, because on that day, I might receive a card or present from unexpected people.

On the 13th this month, which is on Lantern Festival Eve, I went up to Damai Beach to check in a room which I've booked earlier on @ RM100 only (Promotion Price for bookings on 2nd to 4th September 2008)

What surprise me was the room. Who will thought that RM100 room would be this big and nice.

Krista Centurion "Tang Lung" Festival 2008

I was surprised when Rose told me that Sam invited a few of us to go to a kindergarten to celebrate our "Tang Lung" Festival :X I mean like, why Kindergarten? Rose giggled when she saw my response. She continued by saying that Sam wanted us to cover an event there, which I later understood why :D

To tell the truth, I didn't know much about this Krista Kindergarten till Rose and the gang, namely Eve, Sam, Sharon and Anna were there listening to the person in charge aka the boss, John telling them some history about Krista.

Krista has been in Malaysia for more than 10 years and it's the largest Kindergarten chain in Malaysia. Kids nowadays are so fortunate that such reputable Kindergarten is now in the East Malaysia --> Sarawak --> KUCHING as Krista has certified teachers, who have to take exams from time to time, to ensure that they provide the most updated and best quality of education to the kids. In this case, parents can work wholeheartedly without having to worry about their kids. Great, isn't it?

Krista Centurion Kindergarten is not all about education. From time to time, they'll be celebrations, such as "Tang Lung" Festival. The celebration not only involved the kids and the teachers, but also the parents. This year, Krista is having potluck style of celebration. Parents were to bring food to the Kindergarten and shared among all of them.

Parents gathered together to exchange information, not only about their kids, but also about their working lives.

Kids and parents enjoyed themselves by playing the lanterns together with their kids and the kids' friends :)

This is also one of the events organized by the Kindergarten. They walked from inside the building to the garden outside the Kindergarten and also back to the building itself.

After the lantern event, there was "Treasure Hunt" event. The kids were to hunt as many sweets as possible and those who grabbed the most sweets will have the most sweets. Hahahaha..

The next event was demostration of how to make moon cake and fried chicken with the oven with hassle free.

Most of the mothers are interested in this demo.

I enjoyed myself there with my fellow friends. Special thanks to Kenny & Sam for the invitation. Thanks so much to the organiser, Mr John and the Principle of the Kindergarten, Mdm Vicky for all the information given to us.

The Food Gallery, Tun Jugah

On beautiful Saturday evening, babyRose & I went to The Food Gallery @ Tun Jugah for dinner. She wanted to eat Hot Plate Noodles which is said to be the best in Kuching.

But we were not lucky that evening as the Hot Plate Noodles stall was closed that evening. So, we looked for other food to eat.

I got myself a set of Terrayaki Chicken @ RM13, California Maki @ RM12

BabyRose got herself a Fish Ball Tang Hoon Soup @ RM5.90

The Miso soup was included in the set that I ordered. It was a bit too salty. The chicken wasn't as crispy as it used to be. And another is that I just realized that they're no longer operating the stall themselves. I used to pay at their stall, but now, I've to get the little note to the cashier to pay and their stall is the first one at the entrance, in case any of you think that they've moved.

It was my first time there. Like Rose mentioned in her blog, we were supposed to go a week before that, but the place was fully booked. But we were lucky because Sarawak went black out that particular evening.

I went to Imperial Duck yesterday afternoon with Rose, Paul, Irene, Dennis and Aunty.

Can you spot them?

We ordered the famous duck and char siew noodles @ RM7.00 and also famous duck rice which cost us RM6.50

The noodles taste good. The rice wasn't that good according to Irene.

Before you manage to eat their food, you've to wait for at least half an hour.

Maybe cos it just opened not long ago, that's why a lot of people. So, make sure you don't go there if your stomach cannot stand the hunger.

Malaysian Dream Girl

I have heard a lot of malaysiandreamgirl.tv and I would like to do a review on the latest pictures of "Couture Batik" that can be found at the gallery of the official website.

To me, I think the producer plays very important roles. What will be published and had been published determines the girls' future. Take Fiqa for example, I think her performances in each challenge were great. Too bad, just because she bitched about Cindy for weeks and there she went, got eliminated. Too bad for her and her fans :(

Anyways, back to my main purpose of blogging. My turn to bitch about these girls. I'm not worry cos I'm not a girl and I won't be eliminated for bitching. Wuahahaha..

Let's start with the best to the worst.

Hanis

I think her picture is the best. It looks great except there are too much dots in the picture. It kinda ruined the picture cos there were some dots at her underarm :S Though she's the youngest girl in the competition, she's so likeable and her performances were great.

Ringo

I like this picture of her. Overall, the picture is great. Just that her left hand makes her look kinda weird and not natural. Though I heard a lot of people said that she's short and she's not model material, but what matters most is her performance in each challenge that was given.

Nadia

She looks good in the picture. One part of her face is kinda dark. Maybe due to the lightings. Or maybe due to the artwork by LKW artists. Hmm.. Being confident is good, being too confident is something that she should avoid. Little advice from all of us I supposed.

Adeline

Her pose and the color don't suit her personality. But the "blank expression" that was required for this photoshoot suits her so much because she always show this kind of expression. Don't trust me? Go to the gallery and see her expressions.

Cindy

I personally think that it's better not to show her legs. Her hair for this photoshoot is good, just that there's something wrong with her expression. But was that due to the "blank expression" that was required?

Jay

Over the weeks, her pictures were great. But this week, something is so wrong somewhere. I guess she was stress during the photoshoot as she has been in the bottom 3 for weeks. But still, that's not the reason for not performing well. In this picture, she looked not natural at all. Too bad for her.

Yah.. So, basically, that's all about them for this photoshoot. I did see short clip somewhere asking the girls who do they think will stay for the Top 3. And to be fair, I'll take the latest photoshoot to decide who should stay. Some of you might think that it's not fair to decide this way, but hey, for the past few weeks, the girls were eliminated based on votes by us every week too, right? So, I think that's the right way to decide.

Sg Maong '97 Reunion

1997 was the year that all of us graduated from our high school, SMK Sg. Maong. Before leaving school, we made promises that we will keep in touch with each other. I know the ladies kept their promises. As for me, I didn't. But this bunch of great friends didn't forget about me whenever they go for drinks or dinner. So, here, I would like to say thank you so much to you all. I may have FFK you all for certain occasions due to certain reasons, I'm really sorry.

Anyways, back to the happy moment that we had not long ago. The ladies managed to get as many friends as possible for a reunion dinner at Banquet. Once again, thanks so much for that.

Those present for the reunion were Hsin Ann aka MT, Jenny, Winnie, Gwen, Hui Ching, Ling Hui, Na Li, Boon Ling, Andy, Ling Ling and Pik Fan.

Though this is my first time meeting so many of them at once after we left high school, moments with this bunch of monsters are so different. They are very LOUD, they are really CRAZY, they are PLAYFUL and they can be very FIERCE as well (especially if you make one of them angry, the whole bunch of monsters will be mad at you =.= ) Don't you all agree with me? *LOL*

We shared a lot of things that evening. I did notice something. We all CHANGED.. Change, as in, we all grow wide. We all become PRETTIER and more GOODLOOKING. Don't believe me, ask them. Hahahaha...

And here, I would like to say SORRY to this bunch of monsters for not joining you all for dinner on 12 March. It was Gwen's birthday.

I know I am super late to enter this contest but I still want to give it a try since it's going to end in 2 hours plus time. Late better than never, right? :)

1. Advertlets has a new ad campaign for a new client that will run in multiple countries. Guess how many countries will it be running in?

The Launching of My Privilege Book

The event was held at Tun Jugah on 1st January 2008. I didn't really know about this event till some bloggers informed me on the day itself. I was not really late for the event. The shows have not started except some VIP giving speech to the crowd there.

I took tons of photos but I'm not going to post all of them up. Only some will be published as I don't much time to sort out all the photos.

The event started with hair show by Ray's Salon.

There was this hair artist who cut the models' hair on spot for the crowd to see.

After the hair show, the event was followed by Fashion Show. The boutiques involved in the show were DeHome, Orangety, JP Boutique, Natale Collection, Absolutely Dress Gallery, Cozzi and Cocoon.

One of our members, Annna was in the show too. She was the model for Crowning Glory.

Control Stress!!!!!

Control You Anger
Watch for the next instance in which you find Urself becoming annoyed OR angry at something trivial or unimportant, then practice letting GO.- make a conscious choice not to become angry or Upset. Do not allow URself to waste thought and energy where it isn’t deserved. Effective anger management is a tried- And True stress reducer.

Breathe
Breathe slowly and sleepy. Before reacting to the next stressful Occurrence, take three deep breaths and release them slowly. If U have a few minutes, Try out breathing exercises such as meditation or guided imagery.

Slow Down
Whenever you feel overwhelmed by stress, practice speaking more slowly than usual. You’ll find that you think more clearly and react more reasonably to stressful situations. Stressed people tend to speak fast and breathlessly; by slowing down your speech you’ll also appear less anxious and more in control of any situation.

Complete One simple to do:
Jump start an effective time management strategy. Choose one simple thing you have been putting off (E.G returning a phone call, making a doctor’s appointment ) and do it immediately. Just taking care of one nagging responsibility can be energizing and can improve your attitude.

Get some fresh air:
Get outdoors for brief break. Our grandparents were right about the healing power of fresh air. Don’t be deterred by foul weather or a full schedule. Even five minutes on a balcony or terrace can be rejuvenating.

Avoid Hunger and Dehydration:
Drink plenty of water and eat small, nutritious snack. Hunger and dehydration, even b4 you’re aware of them, can provoke AGGRESSIVENESS and EXACERBATE feeling ANXIETY & Stress.

Do a Quick Posture Check:
Hold your head and shoulders upright and avoid stooping or slumping. Bad posture can lead to muscle tension, pain, and Increased Stress.

Recharge at the day’s end:
Plan something rewarding for the end of your stressful day, even if only a relaxing bath of half an hour with a good look. Put aside work, housekeeping or family concern for a brief period before bedtime and allow URself to fully relax. Don’t spend this time planning tomorrow’s schedule or doing chores you didn’t get around to during the day. Month of the December makes me have Christmas Mood all the way from 1st day of the month. So, Rose and I and our JR Junior went for photoshooting.

The decorations at Hilton Kuching are very nice, especially the lightings in front of Hilton.

The management of Hilton prepared Christmas tree with very nice decorations for not only the people staying in Hilton but also for everyone who goes there to visit.

By the way, I like the pedestrian walkway right before the entrance.

How can a Christmas be perfect without all this special chocolates, cakes, candies and related food.

X'masCity @ Travillion!!!

StarLight sang Christmas Songs for the opening of XmasCity

After 10 songs presented by Starlight, the emcee, Miss Alicia allowed the rest to perform. There were Dino (as claimed by Frankie), sexy girl dance, individual AhMei soundalike, SHE Superstar sang by the Sisters and not forgetting Fidaus the breakdancer. Those performances were too great to be explained. Too bad for those who did not manage to the event.

After the great performances by the great and kindhearted performancers (cos they were there to perform for FOC), the bloggers went to the back for photoshooting sessions.

The Christmas tree was set up and sponsored by Celcom if I'm not mistaken as there are a lot of Xs on the tree. Those who can guess the right amount of Xs on the tree will get RM10,000/-. Wanna be free from work for half a year? Send your entry to 23456.

I went to this place months ago. It's called Kampung Cina. My friend's granny used to live there. I took these pics because you can't see any place like this in town area. Don't feel touched and lucky for staying at your current place??

Actually, the main purpose I took those pics is because in my mind, I think the above pics look like an abstract. Don't you think so? (I'm refering to those who have "yi suk kang".. If you get what I mean) .

New Bowling alley

In Sarawak, there is only one out of many Universities that has bowling alleys. And guess who designed that?? *ahem*aHeM*AHEEeeEeM* You got it right already? Wahahaha..

The materials are fully import from overseas.

Too bad, the alleys are only for students and staff of the University and not outsiders, like me and you. :(

When asked to give a subtitle to this website, I thought for a while what best describes me. When routine isn't exactly normal. I always thought my life has been so normal,creative and similar to other people. But its usually when you start thinking that way that life throws you a curve ball. My life is routine, but its not always normal.I graduated from Metro Interior Col in 27 sept 2001. My study is INterior design At the moment, I'm working as a Interior designer with Yoojin ind .I go to the happening. I drink socially, and i don't smoke. I hate it when people I care about smoke. I love my computers and my creative Art , Design . I love my family.I started this blog , to expand my creativity, and to re-discover myself. Why does one need to re-discover himself? Because I thought I'm normal. I was wrong. The only thing constant in this world is change, things change, and I change.
